Furniture Donations, Clothing Donations, Book Donations, Small Appliance Donations and more......

If you are cleaning out your garage, organizing your closets, making room for new purchases in your home or just want to help out any number of Vietnam Military Veterans and their families by donating almost (you don't even have to make a trip to a donation center).....this is how you do it:

Log on to PickUpPlease.org and......

  1. Schedule your donation pick-up......so easy to do online
  2. Leave bags or boxes of items outside on designated pick-up day...make sure to clearly label each with VVA
  3. The driver will pick up items (between 8 and 5) and leave a tax deductible receipt for you

This service is free, easy, tax deductible and charitable giving reaches far beyond the donated items themselves!

Donation Items Include:

  • Clothing - men's women's, children's, all sizes
  • Shoes
  • Baby Items
  • Usable Small Furniture
  • Tools
  • Jewelry And Cosmetics
  • Bedding and Linens
  • Kitchen Items
  • Small Appliances
  • Books
  • Toys

.........just about anything!

Your donations will make a big difference in the lives of America's Veterans and their families. This type of charitable donating is a win/win situation.....you get to clean your space out and individuals who have served our country receive help that they deserve so much. The majority of the funding that supports programs for veterans through VVA is generated by items that you donate!

This awesome program was set up by VVA (Vietnam Veterans of America) as one of their many efforts in raising funds that support local, state and national programs for Vietnam Veterans of America.

Thanks for the info...I need to do my spring cleaning (I know I'm a little late). I'll definitely request them to pick it up...makes it so much easier on me!

Hi Kate,

I don't work for this group, but thought it was a great way to donate. If you still have the items for donation, I would just go to the website and see if you can schedule something. Good Luck!

This is a great suggestion, but do you have any others? VVA comes around at times that are convenient for them; I don't want to wait two more months to get rid of this stuff. Any OTHER orgs out there?
